Mardi Gras Parade

We are back with the annual Mardi Gras Parade. Everyone is invited to this family oriented event. Ride your bicycles, power wheels, golf carts, 4-wheelers, or walk. Floats are also welcome. Grab a mask and join the fun! Line-up starts at 10:15 and the parade will begin at 11:00 am. There is no entry fee.

Pontotoc Community Health Fair
Saturday, April 2, 2022
Let’s get healthy! We will be having a free community health fair and everyone is invited to participate. It will be at the Pontotoc Pavilion, 139 W Reynolds Street, from 9:00 am – 12:00 Noon. There will be free health and wellness screenings, nutritional counseling, and behavioral health screenings. We will also have free home covid test kits, and free covid vaccines, SNAP application assistance, and more!
Please don’t eat or drink for at least 8 hours before the tests. You can drink water only.

Celebrate Summer with music! On Thursdays, during the months of June and July, local musicians gather at the Pavilion and play a concert for the public. These concerts are free to attend and sponsored by the City of Pontotoc. Food is available for purchase. Bring a chair and enjoy the music and fellowship! *The concert for the week of July 4th will be held on Tuesday, July 4th.
Touch-A-Truck Event

Fun! Fun! Fun! A unique opportunity for kids to explore trucks, emergency response vehicles, heavy machinery and more! This is a family friendly event with free admission for everyone. It will be held at the Pontotoc County Agri-Center from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. See you there!

Celebrate America with this fun July 4th parade. Decorate your golf cart, bicycle, side-by-side, etc. in red, white and blue and join us for an informal parade down Main Street. Feel free to walk the parade if you would like. It all starts at 10:00 am at Pontotoc Junior High School. Happy Birthday America!
