Mardi Gras Parade
Saturday, February 26, 2022

We are excited to announce our first annual Mardi Gras Parade. Everyone is invited to this family oriented event. Ride your bicycles, power wheels, golf carts, 4-wheelers, or walk. Floats are also welcome. Grab a mask and join the fun! Line-up starts at 10:15 and the parade will begin at 11:00 am. There is no entry fee.

Customer Appreciation Day

Pontotoc Community Health Fair
Saturday, April 2, 2022

Let’s get healthy! We will be having a free community health fair and everyone is invited to participate. It will be at the Pontotoc Pavilion, 139 W Reynolds Street, from 9:00 am – 12:00 Noon. There will be free health and wellness screenings, nutritional counseling, and behavioral health screenings. We will also have free home covid test kits, and free covid vaccines, SNAP application assistance, and more!

Please don’t eat or drink for at least 8 hours before the tests. You can drink water only.

Ecru Spring Open House
Saturday, April 2, 2022

Make plans to join this annual event in the Ecru Community. This year, the Ecru Spring Open House will be on Saturday, April 2nd. See you there!

Community Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 9, 2022

Bring the family to Howard Stafford Park for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Registration begins at 10:30 am, and the Egg Hunt starts at 11:00 am. Everyone is invited. Come out and enjoy the fun!

In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled for Friday, April 15.

Graduate Employment Fair

Attention Class of 2022!  All high school seniors are welcome to attend this event. Seniors attending Pontotoc’s three public high schools will be bused directly from school so they can attend. Many great employers will be in attendance. If your business would like to participate, contact the Pontotoc County Chamber and Main Street office at 662-489-5042.

Art Lecture and Demonstration

Join us for a wonderful opportunity to learn from a talented artist!  The Pontotoc Art Guild presents a lecture and demonstration by artist Susan Patton. There is no charge to attend this event. Our local Farmers Market is something we look forward to every year. We have fresh produce, arts & crafts, baked goods and even live music. It is held every Saturday during the summer months. A community event hosted on Pontotoc’s Court Square, honoring our brave, fallen Veterans and Service Members. Ceremony begins at 10:00 am.

June & July 2022

Celebrate Summer with music! On Thursdays, during the months of June and July, local musicians gather at the Pavilion and play a concert for the public. These concerts are free to attend and sponsored by the City of Pontotoc. Food is available for purchase. Bring a chair and enjoy the music and fellowship! *The concert for the week of July 4th will be held on Tuesday, July 4th.

Touch-A-Truck Event
Saturday, June 18, 2022

Fun! Fun! Fun! A unique opportunity for kids to explore trucks, emergency response vehicles, heavy machinery and more! This is a family friendly event with free admission for everyone. It will be held at the Pontotoc County Agri-Center from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. See you there!

This year’s event is sponsored by: Certech Truck & Trailer Service, Cow Creek Towing, and Pontotoc Chamber/Main Street.

4th of July Freedom Parade
Monday, July 4, 2022

Celebrate America with this fun July 4th parade. Decorate your golf cart, bicycle, side-by-side, etc. in red, white and blue and join us for an informal parade down Main Street. Feel free to walk the parade if you would like. It all starts at 10:00 am at Pontotoc Junior High School. Happy Birthday America!

28th Annual Bodock Festival

This annual festival is a Pontotoc tradition and is fun for the whole family. Arts and crafts, food, games, car & tractor show, children’s corner, talent show, Tour de Bodock, and more. Something for everyone! This year’s entertainment will feature Galloway & Company, Terry “Harmonica” Bean and Band, Justin Kirk & Company, and Almost Famous Memphis. Come out and enjoy the fun!
